Michael “The Bayville Bomber” Bednar

Michael Bednar is the owner of Catering by Michael in Bayville.

“I heard about fight for charity at ILKB (I Love Kickboxing) in Oyster Bay. When I was a child my older brothers and I used to box with 16 oz. Everlast gloves that our parents gave us one Christmas. We boxed with football helmets on. I remember telling my oldest brother Matt, who is now in heaven that one day, I someday I will fight in a real event, Michael said.

BednarMichael“On November 21st this year my dream will become a reality. Matt will not be at the Main Event physically, however, I know he will be in my corner. Matt coached me in CYO basketball and made me shoot with both hands. I’m still able to make those left hand shots. This fight is not about winning or losing, it is about giving back, paying it forward.”

Michael attended Broome Community College and Nassau Community College.

He is a resident of Bayville.
