He learned about Fight for Charity from volunteer Lauren Coffey and alumni boxer Edgar Montenegro.

“I am always looking for ways to give back to the community. On top of that, I’ve been involved with athletics since I was a child. The pairing of a charitable event and a physical challenge made this opportunity very inviting,” said Walter.

“Becoming a charity boxer is a great way to push myself out of my comfort zone and achieve multiple goals. I’m looking forward to both the fundraising and the physical challenge,” he added.
Walter is a member of the both the Garden City and Melville Chambers of Commerce and Swap the Biz networking group. He is involved with D’Arce Brazilian JiuJitsu and active in CEO Works.

Walter earned a B.S. from SUNY Stony Brook and is currently a resident of Medford.
