Dimitri "The Hellenic Hammer" Sevastos volunteered to be a charity boxer to give back to the community, recognizing the importance of supporting charitable causes as a growing business owner. Starting with Optimus Primers, a painting company, Dimitri is now expanding the business into Optimus Group, which will offer CM/GC construction services on top of the other verticals. With the philosophy of "Finish as the frontline" Optimus Group ensures that the final outcome is a priority from the very beginning. He values events that blend charitable causes, personal goals, and health, making his participation in the Fight for Charity a meaningful endeavor.
Sevastos is a member of AHEPA Delphi 25, a Manhattan based organization that promotes the ancient Hellenic ideals of education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, integrity and family and individual excellence through community service and volunteerism. He is also a member of the Long Island Network Exchange (LINX) and the Long Island Builders Institute.
As a growing business owner, Sevastos sees the importance of giving back to the community. Volunteering to be a charity boxer allows him to support worthy causes while also focusing on his personal goals and health. This event raises funds for the Eden II/Genesis Foundation and the Long Island Community Chest and promotes the spirit of community and personal well-being. Through his participation, Sevastos is set to inspire others to contribute to these impactful causes and embrace the journey of personal growth and health.
Sevastos currently resides in Seaford with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, Sevastos enjoys volunteering at his local church and being outdoors!
