Zach "The Zach Attack" Merritt has been working for Lessing's Hospitality Group since 2022, and is a mainstay at the Heritage Club in Bethpage. He was born and raised in Plainview New York and graduated from Plainview JFK high school last year.

He started boxing in late 2023 at 17 years old and has been actively training with his trainer Anthony "Showtime" Karperis for about a year. 

His father (Chuck Merritt) boxed in 2009 and is currently on the board of the Long Island Community Chest which is the 501C charity that hosts Fight For Charity every fall.
