We'd like to introduce our 2019 Boxer, Asher Allweiss from Berkshire Hathaway!

Asher “The Berkshire Basher” Allweiss

Asher “The Berkshire Basher” Allweiss is a License Real Estate Salesperson with Berkshire Hathaway Laffey International Realty in Woodbury. He specializes in the sale of in luxury properties, first-time homebuyers, upsizing and downsizing, corporate relocations, new construction and investment properties.

“I attended the Main Event in 2018 as a guest of New Ground. After which Matt Silver urged me to participate. This is an opportunity to give back to a community which has given me so much over my lifetime. Being able to put a smile on someone’s face knowing that I’ve changed their life for the better makes everything worthwhile,” remarked Asher.

“Training is huge for me. I have always struggled with my weight and getting myself into shape, but now having this goal and all these people relying on me to be successful should be the motivation I need to finally achieve this elusive goal. I cannot wait to continue this amazing journey, make everyone proud and raise funds for a good cause,” he added.

Asher is a member of the National Association of Realtors, New York Association of Realtors, Long Island Board of Realtors and is on the board of the Plainview Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce. He is on the Young Professional Board of New Ground Inc., an agency committed to educating and empowering families and veterans who are caught in the vicious cycle of homelessness here on Long Island. He is a board member for another charity as well, The LGBT Network, on the events committee. Other groups he is active in include: The Unicorn Network; RED Connections Networking Group; Liincs-Real Estate Director; and the IBO Networking Group.

Asher earned his BS in Advertising, Marketing and Communications from CUNY-Queens College. He lives is Plainview.

Q: What made you decide to fight for charity?
