Ciara Fiorello is the RN Educator and Transformational Nurse Coach at Daleview Care Center. Daleview is a long term care and sub acute rehab facility located in Farmingdale. She works with the department of nursing to ensure the highest nursing standards of care are provided to our residents. In her own business, Continuum Nurse Coaching, she works with clients to assist them in defining the best version of themselves and coach them toward and meeting their overall health and wellness goals.

She first heard of LIFFC when my cousin, Sarah “Big Momma” Walters was a charity boxer back in 2018. The event was amazing and the ability to raise money to help the community was just astounding!

“I volunteered to be a charity boxer so I could find ways outside of nursing to help my community. The past two years in healthcare have challenged clinicians like myself to find more ways to support those who need it and the charities that benefit from LIFFC align to my values as a clinician. Also, I like to push myself out of my comfort zone and find ways to stay accountable, so what better way to stay accountable then to fight for charity!

Training and fighting for this event is meaningful in many ways – its helping me to broaden my horizons regarding my health and wellness goals as well while helping to broaden the impact I can have on assisting others. I’m a natural born helper, so finding ways to extend that reach just helps to keep the positive spirit going. Additionally, it speaks to resilience – this year in healthcare has been tough and the only way that I have been able to get through is by fighting!! “
