2022 Boxers / Marcus Gilmore

Meet the Boxer

We'd like to introduce our 2019 Boxer, Marcus Gilmore from 86 Dents!

Marcus “The Machine” Gilmore is the owner of 86 Dents, a paint-less vehicle dent repair company that removes dents and dings without bodywork or painting.  Ideal for lease returns, door digs and hail damage.

Marcus worked with Alure Home Improvements and saw Sal Ferro fight in past Fight for Charity Main Events and decided to become a Charity Boxer too.

“I’ve always enjoyed taking part in charitable activities. I train year round and wanted to put the training to good use,” said Marcus.

The inspiring message he likes share: Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

“Aside from the opportunity to give back, training and fighting in this year’s Main Event will give my children, Jacob and Brianna, a chance to see me in a different light other than a father.  I want them to see me getting involved for a good cause and be an example of what life should be about – helping others,” he added.

Marcus graduated from the Waldorf School and Wagner College.  He resides in Huntington Station.

Q: What made you decide to fight for charity?

““I’ve always enjoyed taking part in charitable activities. I train year round and wanted to put the training to good use.””
