Robert “The Mighty Mc” McBride is the President and CEO of McBride Consulting & Business Development Group. For over 36 years, McBride has successfully provided clients with business strategy, political lobbying services, contract procurement guidance, public relations and grant writing services, resulting in hundreds of millions of new dollars for his clients over that timeframe. He specializes in business development and consulting in the transportation, construction, affordable housing, green energy and waste management industries.

For the last three years, Robert was voted one of City & State’s Top 50 New York State and New York City Lobbyists. He was chosen as a Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics, naming him as one of the Top 100 lobbyists in the United States. McBride also serves on the board for the New York League of Conservation Voters, Irish Americans in Government and Operation Healing Forces. He is also a member of the Business Owners Advisory Council (BOAC).

Outside of being the President and CEO of McBride Consulting & Business Development Group, Robert is also a successful entrepreneur, building several profitable businesses including Metro Transportation Planning & Solutions Group, a company based in Denver, CO, distinguished for its environmentally friendly business model.

Along with his business success, McBride is heavily involved in the community, giving back to several nonprofit organizations and charities including The United Way, American Heart Association, The Leukemia Society, Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick, Helen Keller Services, Mineola Lions Club, Operation Healing Forces, Volunteers of America, Education and Assistance Corp (EAC Network), the Salvation Army and Long Island Association for AIDS Care (LIAAC).

McBride currently resides in West Islip with his wife, Marion. They have three children; Kate, Bobby and Sean.
