Meet the Boxer

We'd like to introduce our 2019 Boxer, Karen Scutellaro!

Karen “Angel Gloves” Scutellaro

Karen “Angel Gloves” Scutellaro is a SVP Business and Commercial Banking Manager.

She is a member of several professional/networking groups including CIBS, ABLI and LIBDC.

Karen explained, “I heard about Fight for Charity from Jeff Cohen. Since I have always wanted to be of use to others I decided to become a Charity Boxer. More importantly, I want to assist in fundraising for Long Island Teen Challenge in memory of my son Joseph who passed away at age 25.

“Training and fighting in this year’s Main Event will give me the chance to use my voice to raise awareness for L.I. Teen Challenge programs and raise funds in support of its mission.”

Karen’s charitable activities include Canine Companions and Rotary of Bay Shore.

She resides in East Islip with and is the mom to Antonia Rose and son Angelo, his fiancé Grace, and granddaughter Juliette.

Q: What made you decide to fight for charity?
